Perforated metal mesh definition

perforated metal mesh (also known as perforated sheet, stamping plates, or perforated screen) is made through the metal stamping and sheet metal manufacturing process. Sheet metal materials include steel, aluminium, stainless steel, bronze, brass, titanium, and so on.

Perforated materials are very versatile. From lightweight decorative elements to load-bearing structural components, perforated metal offers unique opportunities to combine strength, functionality and beauty.

Perforated metal mesh specifications

1.Perforated metal hole pattern

We can make the following hole patterns, or do custom made against customers' request.

2.Perforated metal material

Stainless steel plate,carbon steel plate,galvanized steel plate,aluminium plate.

3.Perforated metal thickness or guage

Thickness of the metal sheets do not change during the perforation. Normally thickness is expressed in gauge, please see the Gauge Table. However, to avoid possible misunderstanding, we would suggest to express them in inches or millimeters.

4.Perforated metal sheet size

The most common width and length are as following 
1000MM X 2000MM 1220MM X 2440MM 1250MM X 2500MM 
1250MM X 6000MM 1500MM X 3000MM 1500MM X 6000MM
However  Metal Mesh also do other sheet sizes according to customers' requirements. 

5.Perforated metal margin

Margins are the blank (un-perforated) area along the edges of the sheet. Normally the margin on the length are 20mm minimum, and margin along the width can be 0 minimum or at customers' requests.

Perforated metal can do the following finish according to customers' requirements: 
Natural Finish 
Most of the perforated sheets are required to be Natural Finish no matter what kind of material they are. 
Oil Spraying 
Some customers prefer the carbon steel perforated sheets to be oil sprayed to avoid the possible rusting because of the moisture during the long time sea shipping. 
Powder coating 
We can do different colors powder coating, but minimum quantity might be required for some special colors.

Our factory has been equipped with various inspection machines which can test the chemical properties and physical properties of  perforated metal mesh , such as materials testing machine, electronic balance, universal micrometer, digital caliper,and various chemical reagents.

Perforated metal mesh packing

Wooden Pallets. 1 Ton - 2.5Tons (2200 Lbs To 5500 Lbs) Per pallet. Each pallet will be packed by plastic bag. 
Note: Steel Pallets can be provided with extra cost.
